Kompressor Haus – Terms & Conditions 

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all sales, orders, and interactions with The Kompressor Haus (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you enter into a legally binding agreement and confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not purchase or use our products.

1. Contract Formation

A contract is formed only when we accept your order and dispatch the goods. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. All products are supplied subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended without notice.

2. Product Suitability & Installation Responsibility

Our products are intended for specialist, performance, classic car applications unless explicitly stated otherwise. Due to the technical nature of these products:

• All components must be installed by a competent and suitably qualified person.
• Installation may require modifications, specialist tools, and diagnostic capability.
• If you are not confident in your ability, you must use a professional installer.
• All components must be inspected for cleanliness prior to installation.
• Post‑installation checks (belt tension, leaks, fretting, wear) must be carried out regularly.

We accept no liability for engine damage, component failure, or consequential loss arising from incorrect installation, contamination, improper maintenance, or failure to follow instructions.

3. Customer Responsibilities

By purchasing from The Kompressor Haus, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when placing an order or submitting a technical enquiry.
• Ensure that any installer you use is competent and suitably qualified.
• Follow all installation instructions, maintenance guidance, and safety recommendations.
• Supply clear photographs, videos, and descriptions when reporting issues or requesting support.
• Maintain your vehicle in a safe and roadworthy condition if used on public roads.
• Ensure all modifications comply with local laws, insurance requirements, and MOT standards.
• Use the products only for their intended purpose and within recommended operating limits.
• Failure to meet these responsibilities may affect your warranty rights and limit our ability to provide support.
• Our kit is designed for engines in stock condition so if there have been any modifications, some additional assembly steps maybe required and additional parts sourced at your own cost. It is important that you ensure your engine is in good health before considering fitting one of these kits.
• On completion of your installation the equipment will require fine tuning to ensure your engine runs correctly. We would always recommend that you seek the assistance of a professional to carry out final tuning and to undertake safety inspections following installation. Additional parts required will be at your own expense along with any labour charges so please consider this before any purchase. Failure to seek professional help for an engine that is not tuned correctly could result in damage. Adjustment of the ignition timing will be required along with modification of the distributor to avoid the timing advancing too far. If you are running the 123 ignition distributors please ensure you seek an appropriate base map. We do not offer or advise any settings related to this component.
• NOTE: IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ENGINE BUILDER AND TUNER TO ULTIMATELY CONFIRM THE KIT IS SUITABLE FOR THE ENGINE AND TUNING CALIBRATION IS CORRECT AND SAFE FOR ITS INTENDED USE. WE HOLD NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ENGINE DAMAGE THAT RESULTS FROM THE MISUSE OR MIS-TUNING OR MISAPPLICATION OF THIS PRODUCT. PLEASE REFER TO OUR FAQ SECTION FOR MORE GUIDENCE ON TIMING AND TUNING. 

4. Performance, Road Use & Insurance Obligations

Our products may increase engine performance. Actual results vary depending on engine condition, tuning, installation quality, and supporting modifications. No guarantee of specific performance gains is given or implied.

If fitted to a road‑going vehicle, you are solely responsible for:

• Notifying your insurer of all modifications.
• Ensuring the vehicle remains road‑legal and compliant with local regulations.
• Ensuring supporting systems (brakes, suspension, cooling, fuelling) are adequate.

We accept no responsibility for accidents, enforcement action, or losses arising from the use of modified vehicles on public roads.

5. Supercharger Boost Charts & Performance Data

Any boost charts, performance graphs, airflow calculations, or technical projections displayed on our website or provided in our documentation are theoretical estimates based on mathematical modelling, idealised conditions, and controlled assumptions. These figures are intended for general guidance only.

Real‑world results may differ due to factors including, but not limited to:

• Engine condition and age
• Installation quality
• Ambient temperature and altitude
• Supporting modifications (fuel system, exhaust, ignition, etc.)
• Tuning method and calibration accuracy
• Variations between individual engines and components

The Kompressor Haus does not guarantee that any customer will achieve the boost levels, power figures, or performance outcomes shown in these charts. These figures must not be relied upon as a promise, warranty, or assurance of specific results.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their engine, supporting systems, and tuning setup are suitable for the intended performance level.

6. Inspection on Delivery & Missing Parts

All kits are checked before dispatch, and evidence of this is included in the box. You must:

• Inspect all items immediately upon delivery.
• Report missing components within 48 hours.

Claims made outside this period will not be accepted.

7. Returns – Change of Mind

If you change your mind, you may request a return within 7 days of receiving the goods. You must contact us first at Kompressorhaus@gmail.com.

• Items must be unused and in original, unopened packaging.
• A 20% restocking fee (minimum £25) applies.
• You are responsible for return postage.

Built‑to‑order kits cannot be returned if opened, installed, or modified in any way.

8. Shipping, Delivery & Risk

All orders are shipped using tracked services due to their high value.

• A signature is required upon delivery.
• Parcels will not be left with neighbours or in safe places.
• Once the courier confirms delivery with a signature, the parcel is deemed delivered.
• Claims for loss after confirmed delivery must be made directly with the courier.

International customers:

• Website shipping prices apply to UK addresses only.
• Additional charges apply for overseas shipping.
• You are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees.

9. Faulty Items & Warranty Claims

If you believe a product is faulty:

1. Contact us at Kompressorhaus@gmail.com.
2. Provide clear photos/videos and a detailed description.
3. The item must be returned for inspection before any replacement is authorised.

You must be prepared to run your engine in stock condition while the assessment is carried out.

9.1 Warranty Terms

• Supercharger kits include a 6‑month warranty from the shipping date.
• Warranty is non‑transferable.
• Tampering, disassembly, or unauthorised modification voids the warranty.
• Damage caused by incorrect installation, tuning, misuse, or operation outside recommended limits is excluded.
• Warranty covers parts only, not labour, tuning, diagnostics, recovery, or consequential losses.
• Return postage is your responsibility and refunded only if a genuine fault is confirmed.

9.2 Pre‑Fitting vs Post‑Fitting

• Pre‑fitting: All parts are warranted.
• Post‑fitting: Any damage caused during installation or setup is your responsibility.

10. Communication & Email Response Times

We aim to respond to all customer emails in a timely and reasonable manner. However:

• Response times may vary depending on workload, technical complexity, or the need to review supporting information.
• Technical enquiries and warranty assessments may require additional time for evaluation.
• Emails received outside business hours, during weekends, or on public holidays will be addressed on the next available working day.
• We are not liable for delays caused by email service issues, spam filtering, incorrect contact details, or circumstances beyond our control.
• A delayed response does not constitute acceptance of liability, fault, or warranty approval.

Customers must ensure that all correspondence includes accurate information and clear descriptions to avoid unnecessary delays.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
• Loss of profit, revenue, use, or business.
• Damage to vehicles, engines, or third‑party components.
• Labour, tuning, diagnostic, or recovery costs.
• Any loss arising from misuse, incorrect installation, or failure to follow instructions.

Our total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product supplied.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Kompressor Haus, its owners, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your installation, use, or operation of our products.

13. Intellectual Property

All images, product designs, branding, text, and media on this website are the property of The Kompressor Haus and are protected by copyright. They may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our written permission.

14. Privacy

We only collect information necessary to process your order and communicate with you.

15. Accuracy of Information

All product descriptions, images, and technical information are provided in good faith.
We reserve the right to amend specifications, pricing, or availability without notice.

We are not liable for delays or failure to fulfil orders caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, transport disruption, supply chain issues, industrial action, or global events.

17. Variation

We may update these Terms at any time. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

20. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with The Kompressor Haus, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
