Hi, my name is Byron Ballard, and Volkswagens have been part of my life since I was 13 years old. What started as a fascination quickly turned into a lifelong passion — wrenching on Beetles, learning the details that make these classic Volkswagen supercharger kits so special, and building something unique around the vibrant VW community. Today, it’s an honor to carry on the name of Kompressor Haus and continue the legacy of providing high-quality Aisin AMR 500 supercharger systems to air-cooled Volkswagen enthusiasts worldwide. Our new home will be in Northwest Arkansas, and we’re excited to build the next chapter of Kompressor Haus right here in the United States. Our goal is straightforward: to develop the most complete, best-looking, and easiest-to-install Volkswagen performance parts on the market. Every kit is designed with attention to detail, clean presentation, and real-world performance in mind — because we believe classic VWs deserve parts that look as good as they perform. We aren’t here to mass-produce generic parts; we’re dedicated to the builders, the drivers, the weekend cruisers, and those who have gasoline in their veins along with their own Volkswagen story. We’re currently working hard behind the scenes and expect to officially reopen in early to mid-July. There’s a lot of excitement ahead, and we can’t wait to get these products back into the hands of our fellow VW enthusiasts.
