End of an Era
Important Message
After an incredible journey, the time has sadly come to bring The Kompressor Haus to a close.
As of today 12th March 2026 and with immediate effect the business is closed, this is for two main reasons....
1 - One of us has decided that its time to retire from a working life style. This is not a new decision more of a planned decision.
2 - And for me, life brings other challenges right now, this means that trying to run this alone wont work right now so for now, the workshop lights go out. But who knows what the future may hold — perhaps one day Kompressor Haus will return, bigger, better, and with even more to offer.
What started as an idea driven by a passion for air-cooled Volkswagen engines slowly grew into something far bigger than I ever imagined. Seeing Kompressor Haus grow year on year and seeing kits installed on cars across the world, hearing the stories from builders, and watching the community embrace what we created has been an experience we will always be grateful for.
Kompressor Haus was never just about selling parts. It was about pushing boundaries, creating something fun, and sharing that passion with a community that understands the joy of building and driving these cars.
To every customer, supporter, and enthusiast who believed in the brand and supported the journey — thank you. Your encouragement, feedback, and enthusiasm helped make Kompressor Haus what it became.
Although the business is closing, the cars, the builds, and the spirit behind Kompressor Haus will continue to live on wherever an air-cooled engine is pushing harder than it should, a little piece of Kompressor Haus will still be there.
Although Kompressor Haus is no longer operating, we understand that many customers are still running our supercharger kits on their vehicles.
We will leave the Website open until July 2026 and encourage owners to refer to their original installation documentation, our FAQ's page for specifications, maintenance and setup guidance.
It has been a privilege to be part of this community.
